NatFibra™ OL is an innovative material based on bacterial cellulose, primarily used in oral care products. Its unique physical and chemical properties make it highly functional in oral care formulations, particularly excelling in suspension stabilization and high-efficiency delivery.
1.High-efficiency delivery carrierIt can serve as a high-efficiency delivery carrier for active ingredients in oral care products. Its nanoscale fibril structure can effectively carry and release active ingredients, ensuring their uniform distribution in the oral cavity and enhancing product efficacy.
2.Suspension stabilizerIt has an ultra-high aspect ratio and high Young’s modulus, allowing it to form a stable three-dimensional network structure (α-network) in oral care products. This structure effectively suspends and stabilizes solid microparticles (such as abrasives and fragrances) in the formulation, preventing their sedimentation or separation.
3. No change in apparent viscosityWhile providing suspension stabilization, it does not significantly alter the rheological properties of the product. This means the apparent viscosity remains unchanged, and the user experience (such as flow behavior and mouthfeel) is unaffected.
